I was lucky to come across a wonderful group member called Yvonne, who has an Etsy shop by the name of Karramandi .
I don't know the origins of the name, but I do like the sounds of it, maybe Yvonne can enlighten us as to where the name came from.
I adore soaps and being vegan, it's always a pleasure to find soaps that are vegan friendly.
I have made a couple of purchases from Karramandi the latest being ylang, ylang soap, which arrived very quickly, was neatly packaged and had a little surprise included. Now I don't expect 'extras' when I order goods from Etsy, or from anywhere else for that matter, so it's always a nice surprise to receive one. About the soap - it was delightful. Lightly scented, I just had to try it straight away. It was beautifully creamy and smooth on my skin, and left me feeling fresh and clean. Perfect. The other soaps I've tried from Karramandi are Grapefruit and Ginger, which is light and fresh and wonderfully Spring-like. Also Frankincense - exotic and musky, I adore it! Strawberries and cream, light and fruity, and Plum, which is rich and fruity, both bring out thoughts of Spring and Summer. Oh and not forgetting Lavender, which smelled like lavender fields and transformed me to a wonderful countryside place, I've yet to visit. Such delightful scents, all good for the skin, creamy, soft and fresh.
But that's not all. Karramandi has more delicious, delectable delights. These include lip balms, which I eagerly wait for the Vegan version, which is soon to be announced on the Karramandi Blog, whipped shea butter, and my very favourite - Rose Otto and Frankincense Face and Body Cream (VEGAN). this face and body cream is gorgeous. The smell oozes out of the pot inviting one to delve in and be spoilt. the cream is luxury for the skin. It glides on effortlessly and absorbs easily, leaving the skin soft and scented. A little goes a long way, so you can afford to be extravagant, indeed, I have gently massaged my arms and legs with the cream, to have the scent surround me, pure bliss.
Enough to tempt you?
Watch out for more reviews as I wander through Etsy and treat myself, which is one of my favourite passtimes :)
